BIOgraphy

Annabelle (she/her/hers) is a senior at Rock Ridge High School in Ashburn, Virginia, an award-winning theater program recognized at the Virginia Thespian Festival and the International Thespian Festival. Annabelle is a two-term Chief Executive Officer of Rock Ridge Performing Arts, which develops former Broadway Musicals featuring high school performers, directors, designers, and managers. Annabelle also serves as the President of Rock Ridge High School’s International Thespian Society and as an Executive Board Member of Rock Ridge High School’s Choral program. Annabelle is  the President of Rock Ridge High School’s Student Council and is Rock Ridge High School’s School Board Representative for Loudoun County Public Schools. 

As part of Annabelle’s leadership in her school’s fine arts programming and student government, she advocated for her school system’s annual arts funding to secure $2.8 million dollars for theater support personnel. For more information, click here.

In addition to her dedication to her school’s fine arts programming as a vocalist, performer, advocate, and leader, Annabelle has also been recognized for her Lighting Design at the Virginia Thespian Festival, winning Mainstage for Lighting Design in 2024 and a Superior Rating for Lighting Design.

Annabelle has performed at a number of venues as a vocalist and actor; these include the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts, the Washington Wizards at Capital One Arena, Carnegie Hall, the Salamander Resort and Spa, as well as local stage venues.

Annabelle has attended the PAVAN Regional Governor’s School for the Arts and James Madison University’s Choral Fest.

During Annabelle’s downtime,  she volunteers at Lansdowne Woods, a senior living facility, to provide seniors with tech support as well as at Loudoun Hunger Relief collecting feminine hygiene products. Prior to her high school volunteer work, Annabelle won the Step Up Loudoun Youth Competition for a collaborative project that resulted in the removal of 6 tons of trash from her neighborhood reservoir. For this project, Annabelle presented to the Board of Directors for the region’s water company, to her local government Supervisor, to environmental groups, and to NOVA Parks.  On weekends, she enjoys cooking, listening to music, and thrifting at consignment shops.

Annabelle is dedicated to serving others through the arts and to lifting up others, whether at her school or in the wider community.
